Nõmme schools team tournament

This week and last week, the Nõmme school team championships in checkers and chess were played at Kivimäe Primary School. It is known that the level of young people in Nõmme is high in checkers. This is thanks to the dedicated and fruitful work of coach Heinar Jahu for a year. That is why it is also interesting to watch the games of the Nõmme inter-school checkers tournament. However, it was not a very exciting fight for first place, in the match between them Pääsküla Gymnasium was clearly superior to Nõmme Gymnasium and won the tournament confidently. Moreover, all Pääsküla players also turned out to be the best at their boards. The final ranking was as follows: 1.
