Mind Games Olympiad 2019/2020 - Gomoku results

Hello, This academic year, 536 students from 53 schools participated in the Gomoku tournaments of the Mind Sports Olympiad. This is 71 students more than last year! The most Gomoku players (48) were from Saue Gymnasium. Let's summarize the results by age group: Primary School 244 students from 39 schools participated in the competition at the primary school level. The tournament was won by Paul Johann Mere from Tallinn Reaalkool. Second place went to Eero Sven Tuvikene from Nõo Primary School, and third place went to Kristjan Lääne from Püha Johannese School. The best school was Tallinn Nõmme Gymnasium, which was represented by 16 children in this age group. Primary School 238 gomoku enthusiasts from 33 schools participated in the competition at the primary school level. Last year's winner was Markus Ikla Tallinn Reaalkool. Second place went to Rauno Lääne Tallinn Lilleküla Gymnasium, and third place went to Karl-Ustav Kõlar Tallinn Reaalkool. In this age group, the best school title was won by Tallinn Reaalkool, represented by 14 students at the basic school level. Gyümnaasium 55 students from 12 schools competed at the high school level. This age group was won by Sander Piik from Gustav Adolfi Gyümnaasium. Karl Mattias Moor from Tallinn Reaalkool and Mart Narva from Tallinn Arte Gümnaasium graduated with equal points. The number of stages participated gave Karl Mattias Moor second place and Mart Narva third place. Saaremaa Ühisgümnaasium, represented by 13 students, was recognized as the best school.
