Users who have left us

Until yesterday, users of the vint.ee portal essentially had two statuses: active account and closed account.

But we have had users who are no longer with us. Users have left behind games played, forum posts written, and messages sent.
Until now, the only option was to close these accounts. Now, however, we have decided to give these users a separate status - to let fellow players know that the account was not closed just like that (for example, due to cheating), but that this user will never come back.

In addition, we have received requests to delete the account over time. Until now, the only option was to simply close the account, which is not quite the same. Now, however, we can give the user a separate status - deleted account. The username of the deleted account remains, but the profile on that account will no longer be open.

We also improved the user search , where it is possible to search for accounts with different statuses.

Santa Claus left us today and I am very sorry that I will never receive any packages from him again, either directly, through the chimney or even good chess advice, although that has been my Christmas wish, despite the fact that the wooden box of chess pieces and the board was given to me by Santa Claus. I will sincerely mourn both Santa Claus and Santa Claus and hope that their lives will be more beautiful and brighter in the next, shadowy world. I would also ask that their accounts not be deleted, because you never know exactly where we will land - either in the pleasant warmth of the hellish cauldron or in the cold and enchantment of the high sky!
